SUMMER CAMP

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

POSITION:  Aquatics Area Staff

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

A.        Must be at least 15 years of age.

B.        Must possess an understanding of and have a background in Handicraft skills.

C.        Must be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America.

D.        Must practice the Scout Oath and Law as a way of life.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A.        Reports directly to the Aquatics Director.

B.           Follow and maintain the policies of the Black Hills Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, and local, state, and federal laws.

C.        Serves as an instructor for the First Aid and other related Merit Badges.

D.        Responsible for the Aquatics Area and its equipment.

E.        Assists in conducting an accurate opening and closing inventory.

F.         Participate in camp-wide events.

G.        Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Aquatics Director, Program Director, Business Manager, and Camp Director.
