Our Harrison High Adventure Outpost is located about ¼ mile down the road from CDB’s base camp.
As High Adventure staff, you may lead a backpacking trek, drive campers to and from whitewater rafting locations, or lead a rock climbing expedition.
Some positions require going to BSA’s National Camp School which is paid for by the council. All meals and lodging are provided as an added benefit, no extra cost.
Great summer opportunity if you are in need of an internship for your degree as this is a paid internship!
Certain positions require certifications and experience such as with Rock Climbing and Backpacking. Drivers must possess a valid driver’s license for the duration of camp.
Must be 21+ to apply for High Adventure Rock-climbing Trek Guide and Driver.
All other positions are 18+.
Dates of employment are:
Week 1 June 09 – June 15, 2024
Week 2 June 16 – June 22, 2024
Week 3 June 23 – June 29, 2024
Week 4 June 30 – July 06, 2024
Week 5 July 07 – July 13, 2024
Week 6 July 14- July 20, 2024
Week 7 July 21 – July 27, 2024
