The COPE Instructor is responsible to the COPE Director. The COPE Instructor must be at least 18 years old and be CPR certified. They must be safety conscious, a capable teacher, able to exercise good judgment, dependable and relate well with both youth and adults. An Instructor-in-Training may be 16 years of age.
Duties include:
· Ensuring the safety of all participants while improving their self confidence.
· Assisting the COPE Director where assigned.
· Participate in all staff meetings, sharing ideas for the continual improvement of camp.
