Ecology and Conservation Staff

Ecology-Conservation Support Staff (15+) Responsible to: Eco-Con Director

Their duties are as follows:

(1) Assist the Ecology-Conservation Director in carrying out his/her responsibilities. This includes instructing and supervising special ecology conservation activities.

(2) Provide instruction in the Ecology-Conservation Merit Badges including: Nature, Environmental Science, Mammal Study, Fish & Wildlife Management, Weather, Soil & Water Conservation, and Reptile & Amphibian Study.

(3) Be responsible for the care and maintenance of all ecology conservation related equipment.

(4) Actively engage in camp staff activities including, but not limited to: assisting at meal times as needed, participating in songs and skits for campfire programs, assisting with camper check-in and check-out, cleaning and maintain camp facilities.

(5) Be a prime example of the Scout Oath and Law at all times.

(6) Carry out other duties as assigned to him/her by the Ecology-Conservation Director.

MUST PASS A PENNSYLVANIA STATE CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND FBI FINGERPRINT SCREENING.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary starting at $178 per week
