Shooting Sports Director

SHOOTING SPORTS DIRECTOR (21+) Responsible to: Program Director

Duties are as follows:

(1) Must be certified in Shooting Sports through B.S.A. National Camp School or NRA equivalent.

(2) Should manage and maintain the Shooting Sports areas and equipment.

(3) Possibly Instruct rifle, shotgun and/or archery merit badges.

(4) Supervise the archery instruction and area.

(5) Develop other shooting sports activities as deemed necessary.

(6) Holds certification in and/or equivalent Red Cross Standard First Aid and CPR (adult).

(7) Actively engage in camp staff activities including, but not limited to: assisting at meal times as needed, participating in songs and skits for campfire programs, assisting with camper check-in and check-out, cleaning and maintain camp facilities.

(8) Keep records of all advancements and hand into the Program Director daily.

(9) Be a prime example of the Scout Oath and Law at all times.

(10) All other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

MUST PASS A PENNSYLVANIA STATE CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND FBI FINGERPRINT SCREENING.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary starting at $388 per week

  • All meals during operating season and during training
  • Housing during operating season and during training
  • Paid training. (CPR and First Aid)
