Camp Ranger / Maintenance

CAMP RANGER / MAINTENANCE
Reports To: Camp Director; Director of Camping & Properties (in off-season)  Primary Functions: Lead on-site property maintenance and improvements  Major Duties and Responsibilities:

•      Responsible for opening, operation, and closing of camp facilities.

•      Responsible for maintenance of all camp facilities and equipment including buildings, generators, vehicles, and land use.

•      Supervises check-in/check-out of camp equipment.

•      Responsible for organizing and running of camp improvement projects. • Monitors garbage and sanitation systems

•      All other duties as assigned. Critical Elements of the Position:

•      Must be 18 years of age or older.

•      Must be a role model for staff members and campers.

•      Follows all health and safety guidelines made by the County, State, USA, and Scouting America.

•      Extensive walking and moderate lifting required.
