Archery Staff

Must be 15 years of age and be able to complete Level 1 Archery Training. Experience with archery is preferred. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., provide and receive verbal commands, and visually inspect the firing line, range, and participants at all times.  Must be able to use all Archery equipment safely and confidently (Long and Short bows, fletching tools, etc.), Fill out weekly paperwork as needed (inventories, self-evaluations, merit badge paperwork, lesson plans, etc.), teach merit badge classes, run afternoon troop rotations, participate in evening walkabouts, assist in mealtime announcements and program, evening and older scout activities, track and report needed repairs to Shooting Sports equipment, clean and maintain the Archery area and equipment, and act as an adult staff role model to the youth, leaders, and junior staff present in camp. Reports primarily to the Archery Director but is overseen by the Shooting Sports Director.
