Aquatics Director
¨ Responsible to the Program Director
¨ Responsible for the total camp aquatics program
¨ Trains, coordinates, give guidance to and administers Aquatic Staff
¨ Enforces safety, rules, and policies of the waterfront
¨ Supervises and teaches skills and merit badges
¨ Responsible for teaching leaders in Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat
¨ Plans and directs the layout, setup, care, maintenance, and take down of aquatic equipment and facilities
¨ Responsible for submitting the advancement report to the Program Director at the end of each week
¨ Responsible for a complete staff evaluation at the close of camp
¨ Carries out all other duties assigned by the Camp Director or Program Director
May 30 – June 3: Area Director’s Week
June 4 – 10: Staff Training Week
June 11 – 17: Week 1
June 18 – 24: Week 2
June 25 – July 1: Week 3
July 2 – 8: Week 4
