Montana Council- Scouting America is seeking staff for our camp, K-M Scout Ranch near Lewistown, Montana. Montana Council provides a summer camp experience for youth, creating a culture of safety and fun. We aim to provide an enjoyable and meaningful camp experience for Scouts, Adult Leaders, and Staff.
The Camp Director is responsible for overall supervision and leadership of aspects of camp, including preseason planning and hiring, food service management, and staff training and management. Other responsibilities include evaluating staff, program development, and budget oversight. The person who fills this position must be an effective communicator and planner. They are the leader of the camp administration team. This is a 21+ position that requires training at National Camping School, paid by the employer. Reports to the Montana Council Chief Operating Officer.
This is a seasonal position. Room and board provided in addition to pay. Monthly stipend provided for work completed prior to the season.
Our camp has the following work dates for the 2025 season:
June 24th- August 4th
