K-M Scout Ranch is hiring for the 2025 season! A world-class camp in the heart of Big Sky country, K-M Scout Ranch is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for adventure in Montana. Miles of ATV and mountain bike trails, a newly renovated spring-fed pond with underwater cameras for STEM and trout study, climbing tower, Range and Target Activities, nature, and much more.
K-M Scout Ranch is looking to fill our Health Officer position for the 2025 season.
The Health Officer is requested to arrive by Sunday, June 22nd. K-M’s director arrive on Tuesday, June 24th. Staff arrive on Saturday, June 28th for staff training week. K-M has 2, 3 day Cub sessions followed by 3 week-long Scouts BSA sessions. After campers depart on Saturday, August 2nd, staff close down camp and depart by Monday, August 4th.
The Health Officer is required to have one of the following certifications according to the NCAP standards:
– Licensed physician
-Licensed nurse practitioner
-Nurse (RN, LPN, or LVN)
-Licensed physician assistant
-Paramedic
-Emergency medical technician (basic, intermediate, or paramedic)
-Emergency medical responder (i.e. current state license from the state of Montana or current National Certified First Responder listed on the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians nremt.org)
