Nature Director

Montana Council Scouting America Summer Camps are seeking staff for our camp, K-M Scout Ranch (near Lewistown, Montana). Montana Council provides a summer camp experience for youth, creating a culture of safety and fun. We aim to provide an enjoyable and meaningful camp experience for Scouts, Adult Leaders, and Staff.
Our camp has the following work dates for the 2025 season:

K-M Scout Ranch: June 24th- August 4th

Nature Director: The Nature director is responsible for working with their staff to instruct campers in various science/nature-based merit badges and activities. Other responsibilities include training their staff on the content knowledge, writing lesson plans for merit badges and programs, directing the set-up/take down of their program area, maintaining and submitting camp records throughout each week, completing and submitting an opening and closing inventory, and assisting with duties around the camp. Experience at a long-term Scouts BSA camp desired but not required. This is an 18+ position that requires training at National Camping School, paid by the employer.
