Organize, supervise, and coordinate boating programs at the Lake, and/or other general recreation programs. Provide supervision, training, and evaluation of staff; including volunteers. Regular and consistent communication with the Aquatics Director.
Requirements
- 21+ years old and be registered with Scouting America or be willing to be.
- A valid Lifeguard certification (current through 8/1/2026) or be willing to complete this training before camp.
- Current certification in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or Health Care Worker and American Red Cross First Aid (or equivalents).
- A current certification in Safety Afloat and at least one of the following:
- Current Aquatics Instructor card from National Camping School.
- Current Scouting America Paddle Craft Safety training or be willing to complete this training.
- An instructor rating from the American Canoe Association or other national boating organization appropriate for the activity.
