Goodrich Lake West, the home of aquatics programs at the Summit, offers kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddleboarding, water obstacle courses, swimming instruction, and more! Many visitors to the aquatics programs at Goodrich Lake West are Justice National Scout Camp guests, who participate in merit badges, open activities, and swimming instruction. The starting rate of pay for any summer seasonal position at the Summit is $1,600.00 per month; food and housing (tent in Staff Camp) are also provided for all staff. The approximate term of employment is from late May to early August, though term lengths can be flexible. Precise monthly salaries and employment periods are provided on each position listing. Additionally, internship credit can be gained from employment in any position at the Summit, if the responsibilities of the role match the requirements of the institution–just ask!
